Vintage Pavé Set Diamond Panther Pendant

STORY: The panther is an iconic and timeless design in jewellery. Made famous by the Cartier jewellery house in the early 1940s. 'Panthère de Cartier' is one of the most recognisable and enduring jewellery collections across the globe.
This striking panther pendant features fiery red ruby eyes and continuous french cut diamonds. This diamond setting technique popularised in the early 1920s, also referred to as Pavé, was used in such a way to look as though the piece had been rolled in diamonds.
The diamonds in this piece are set into silver and is hung onto a 9ct gold, thin trace chain from 2 gold loops.
