STORY:
People have been looking to ancient Egypt for fashion inspiration for hundreds of years. Egyptian jewellery was associated with opulence, wealth and symbolism. Scarabs are a popular Egyptian revival motif and symbolise rebirth and resurrection.
DESCRIPTION:
This necklace is "new old stock" from the 1970s, so has never been worn. It has the most fantastic white/grey colour glass scarabs in a rivière design. The stones are set onto a silver coloured base metal with contrasting facetted steel colour bicone beads.
Condition: In excellent unused condition.
