Vintage Buttercup Crystal Ring
The stone set into this ring is a lovely soft pale yellow but the craftmanship of the stone cutter allows for the natural smokiness of the ring to show through in different angles of the light.
The stone is set in Vermeil (gold plated silver) with a sweet tulip embossed design running along its gallery.
The ring is in excellent condition. There is no significant scratches or cracks in the stone although there are microscopic nibbles which are only visible with a loupe.
There is some minor wear to the gold plating but this is not evident at all when being worn and can only really be seen with a loupe.
Post 1958 (USSR)

The stone measures 20mm x7mm.
