The Revival Collection - Diamond Stickpin Conversion Ring
When it made it's debut, the art deco style reflected modern technology and drew inspiration from new machine age designs in aviation, the radio and skyscrapers. It was characterised by smooth lines and geometric shapes. Art deco was synonymous with luxury, a reaction against the austerity imposed by World War I.
The Revival Collection features redesigned one of a kind pieces using antique materials.
In it's previous life, this ring was a gentleman's stickpin. It has been transformed into a modern, simple but luxurious ring by a professional goldsmith in the famous Hatton garden jewellery quarter in London, England.
Fourteen rose cut diamonds have been set into a rich 15ct yellow gold circle motif. The ring is accented by subtle millegrain details on a modern sleep gold shank.
The ring shank has been crafted from the stickpin's original 15ct pin and retains the original hallmark stamp. The ring is is sturdy so could easily be worn on a daily basis. The ring sits quite flat against your finger and it doesn't have any sharp edges that would catch on any of your clothing.
