Retro Marcasite & Faux Pearl Ring

Sophisticated 1940s/1950s symmetrical design of hand facetted and set marcasite stones set within silver. The design features a large faux pearl at its centre. The ring has an extremely comfortable fit as the inside is designed to fit around the curve of your finger. 

Condition: 

The ring is in excellent condition. All stones present. No wear to the band or hallmark. Care must be taken with the ring as marcasite stones are brittle and so should not be exposed to chemicals or be submersed in water as they may break or come loose. The band is a bit misshapen as silver is a soft metal however this does not effect the ring in any way. There is some scratching to the pearl but this is onliy noticeable when looking through a loupe.

The face of the ring measures 16 x 17mm. 

The pearl measures 5mm in diametre. 

The band is 2mm wide x 1.5mm thick. 

Hallmarks:  Stamped SILVER on inside of band.
