French Teardrop Art Deco Earrings

STORY: Mastered by the french in the early 1900s, "Or Plaqué Laminé", represents some of the best quality plated jewellery you will ever find.
DESCRIPTION: These teardrop Art Deco leverback earrings have a sweet faux marcasite detailing made to imitate the sparkle of a real diamond at the time. These earrings have an interesting clip mechanism and seem to open backwards as per the photos.
DISCOVERY: These earrings were recovered from the estate of an old french jewellery dating back to WW2 - still complete with their original display card.
Condition: Excellent - New Old Stock

Measurements:
15mm long x 7mm wide.
Hallmarks: These have very small stamps on the ear wires but i cannot make them out even with a loop.
