This beautiful Bijoux Fix pendant is the creme-de-la-creme of the Art-Deco Period. Made to replicate real gold, this stunner elevated those who wore it to aristocratic status. Invented by French company, Bijoux Fix, in 1823, this pendant has the highest quality gold plating, a process which has been irreplicable ever since. Bijoux Fix ran a number of advertising campaigns against copycat designers encouraging buyers to always make sure you’re jewellery is backed with the FIX stamp. This piece is clearly stamped.
DESCRIPTION:
This pendant has a classic Art Deco geometric design with contrasting metals, deep blue faceted glass paste stone and marcasite detail with a beautiful movement when worn. It's a perfect pendant for stacking as its mixed metal tone matches with just about anything. The pendant is strung from a new sterling silver box chain.
DISCOVERY:
Kept safely in a drawer in Spain by a jeweller, her grand-daughter discovered this charming pendant unworn - and now it can be yours!
Condition: The pendant is an excellent antique condition. This pendant was “new old stock,”and has never been worn.
