Art Deco Louis Rousselet Chandelier Earrings
A rare find! A fabulous pair of Art Deco Louis Rousselet earrings dripping with faux pearls.
Graduating round and teardrop shaped simulated pearls are hung from a center sterling silver flower. The earrings have a lot of movement making them perfect for a casual fun outfit but also elegant enough to be worn for evening attire.
The pearls are a creamy ivory colour and contrast beautifully with the sterling silver fittings.
The earrings have been fitted with new stainless steel earwires.
The earrings are in great condition for being 90 years old. There is some tarnishing / oxidisation to the silver elements of the earrings but this is to be expected with something of this age and only adds to their character.
One of the earrings is a wee bit longer than the other. I only noticed this when I was taking the product photos and is not noticeable at all when being worn.
There are some scratches and dings to the pearls but this is only noticeable when you are looking for issues or through a loupe. I have tried to caption this in a close up photo. It is rare to find these earrings in such good condition given the delicacy of the pearls - not many have survived this long.

The earrings measure 73mm long including the earwire.
The central sterling flower measures 12mm in diameter.
The largest pearl to the base of the earrings measures 12mm x8mm.
