Vintage Cornflower Blue & Marcasite Cocktail Ring
A glamorous cocktail ring from the 1960s with a stunning faceted cornflower blue glass stone surrounded by glimmering marcasite stones. The ring itself is designed to look like a flower.
The ring is in great condition. All marcasites are present. The ring is structurally sound and the glass stone is without any significant cracks or scratches. Given the age of the ring, there are some microscopic nibbles/scratches to the edges of the stone which are only visible when looking through a loupe.
There is a slight bend to the shank of the ring to one of the shoulders. It does not affect the wear of the ring and is only noticeable when you are looking for it when the ring is off your finger.
The ring measures between a 53 EU.
The face of the ring measures 21 x14mm
The stone measures 16.5 x8mm
The ring sits 6.3mm above your finger.
The ring bears the French Crab Silver stamps and a french makers mark which I have not been able to make out.
