Implementation of Orders on the webshop:

In order to execute and deliver orders that you place on Woodward and Fox’s webshop, Woodward and Fox processes information about you to fulfil the agreement, for example we ask for your e-mail address so that we can send you a confirmation and a receipt at your purchase. 

 

Payment Details:

All payment transactions made on the Website are processed by a third party payment processor. You will provide your payment information to these 3rd parties and their Privacy Policy and Terms of Use will apply to the use and disclosure of this information. Woodward and Fox does not keep your payment information, but has access to certain parts of the payment information, such as payment card type, partially anonymised payment card number and expiration date, for the purpose of fraud prevention.

 

Marketing and Newsletters:

You can choose to have your email address listed on a mailing list with Woodward and Fox so that you can receive news and other information on an ongoing basis. If you have consented to receive marketing and newsletters, Woodward and Fox will process your personal data for sending newsletters / marketing via e-mail and sms from Woodward and Fox with current offers, information on events and news at Woodward and Fox. If you do not wish to receive these emails and newsletters, you can unsubscribe by using the unsubscribe link in the newsletter / inquiry or by making an inquiry by email at info@woodwardandfox.com

Who does Woodward and Fox share your personal information with?

Withdrawal of consent:

However, to meet legal requirements, including the requirements of accounting law (5 years from the end of the financial year) and consumer law (the 2-year warranty), we can store certain personal data for a longer period. Withdrawal of consent may mean that it will no longer be possible for us to offer the same products and services to you.

Withdrawal of consent to our newsletter / marketing can be done via unsubscribe link directly in the inquiry. If you are a member of “My Woodward and Fox”, you can also revoke your consent to receive newsletter / marketing directly under your profile.

Woodward and Fox strives to update the stored information so that the personal data is accurate at all times.

Your personal data will be deleted when it is no longer necessary for Woodward and Fox to process or store it for the purposes set out above or for any other legitimate purpose, including on the basis of applicable law or for the purpose of establishing legal claims, to be made applicable or defended. 

Woodward and Fox does not store the names and e-mail addresses of users who have participated in, for example, competitions, after the competition has ended, unless these users have consented to the processing of their personal data for other purposes, such as membership of “My Woodward and Fox” or receiving our newsletters. 

The information can also be stored for an extended period of time in anonymised form, ie. it will no longer be possible to connect the information to you.

 

Your rights:

You have the right to gain insight into what information Woodward and Fox processes about you and for what purpose the information is processed. When data is sent and stored electronically, there is always a risk that others will access protected data before they reach our servers. So even if Woodward and Fox tries to protect your personal information in the best possible way, we cannot guarantee or guarantee the security of any information. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Payment: 

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
