Purchase & Payment

The price of our jewellery is determined by the price of materials such as gold and diamonds on the global market. Therefore, the prices for our jewellery may vary depending on any changes across the market.  The price for a particular piece of jewellery may also change should you request any customisations such as: 

  • Change in necklace chain material or length
  • Change in earring findings for example ‘ear-wires’ to 'screw backs’
  • Change of ‘ear-wire material’ for example silver to rolled gold.
  • Change in ring size (if possible)

We will always confirm the final price prior to your purchase.

In order to keep our prices down, we do not provide individual valuation appraisals for our pieces. Should you wish to obtain a valuation for a specific item, contact us by email and we can agree a cost with a reputable jeweller. 

Woodward & Fox offers various payment methods via the webshop including Shopify Payments (credit and debit cards), Mobilepay as well as Payment on Pickup.

 

Returns, Exchanges & Right of Withdrawal 

We hope you are happy with the pieces you have purchased however if for any reason your order isn't actually what you were looking for, then we are happy to offer a 14 day return policy from the date the item was delivered for a full refund or exchange.

As per Danish law, you have the right to cancel your online purchase and return your order within 14 days without justification. This right of withdrawal expires 14 days once the goods have been received. In order to make use of this right of withdrawal, you must inform us explicitly that you wish to cancel your purchase by emailing info@woodwardandfox.com.  We cannot accept a return by failing to accept the package or failing to collect the package from the Pickup Point.

Once a piece has been altered, including ring re-sizing, it is considered a final sale and cannot be exchanged or refunded. If you have any questions about your specific item’s return policies please feel free to email us.

Items must be returned via recorded delivery in the same unworn condition as delivered including all original packaging and boxes. Should we consider anything to be damaged, these items will not be eligible for exchange or refund.

All orders shipped outside of the EU are final sale.  

If you wish to return an item, please contact us via our webpage or info@woodwardandfox.com to initiate the return process.  

Once we have received the returned item we will confirm the item is in the same condition as when it was purchased. Once confirmed, your refund will be processed immediately which should be within your account in 5 working days. Please note, we do not offer a free returns service and customers are responsible for cost of return shipping.

At Woodward & Fox Jewellery, we believe the beauty of our pieces lies in their history and imperfections. Many of the pieces or components have survived the test of time, sometimes dating back hundreds of years.  We strive to bring these often forgotten pieces of history back to life, focusing on the stories they have to tell.  As part of our quality commitment to our customers, we make sure to disclose any flaws in our pieces in the item description as well as any future repairs which may be required. Depending on the item, we may have our pieces professionally repaired, inspected and cleaned.

 

Shipping within Denmark

Woodward & Fox offers flexible delivery options to suit everyone’s needs including:

 

Delivery to a Home Address or Specified Pickup Point

We ship our parcels using DAO, GLS and Postnord couriers. Courier options and prices vary depending on the value of your purchase and the chosen delivery address (Home vs Pickup Point). 

Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday excluding bank holidays. Orders placed on a weekend will be processed the next business day. Please email us on  info@woodwardandfox.com with any special requests and we will do our best to accommodate them.

We will send you a notification when your order has shipped with relevant tracking details.

We aim to get your purchase to you as quickly as possible and estimate between 3-5 business days for arrival at your specified address. We unfortunately cannot guarantee any delivery times as we have no control over Postal carriers. The estimated delivery time includes the time required to collect your item from our storage safety deposit box.

We insure shipments against loss and damage while in transit from Woodward & Fox to your specified address.  If you believe your item may have been damaged in transit then please email info@woodwardandfox.com within 24 hours with a photograph and description of any damage.

Reklamation

We always strive to ensure an honest description of each item at Woodward & Fox. Given our pieces are antique and vintage, it is likely there may be some wear to the item so please read the description carefully before purchasing. Contact us on info@woodwardandfox.com if you have any specific questions about an item.

All pieces are thoroughly inspected prior to being offered for sale on our website. We outline any issues with the piece as well as advise of any cause for future repair in the item description.

We buy our pieces in good faith from reputable jewellery dealers across the world. When there are uncertainties of a piece’s age, material, condition, we will detail this in the item description on the website. We are also able to undertake acid testing to identify certain metals which will also be outlined in the product description.

For our more valuable jewellery, we refer our pieces to an independent, reputable jeweller within London’s  famous Hatton Garden jewellery quarter for inspection and/or repair. The goldsmith will review the piece to ensure its authenticity and identify any damage which needs to be repaired prior to selling. Any repairs undertaken by this jeweller will also be specified on the product listing.

As with any other jewellery, Woodward & Fox pieces are vulnerable to damage and care should be taken when worn and in cleaning process. Please contact us on info@woodwardandfox.com if you have any specific questions about a particular piece.

If you have a complaint about a purchase you made from Woodward & Fox jewellery and/or wish to return an item due to a fault, please contact us at info@woodwardandfox.com.

 

Gift Packaging & Messages

If you're buying a special something for someone special we offer a gift wrapping and messaging service for all of our Danish purchases. You can also request a gift receipt be included with your order. We are not able to offer this service for deliveries outside of Denmark.  

If you’re ordering an engagement ring for a surprise proposal, we can use generic, unbranded packaging or delivery can made to an alternative address/pickup point as per our checkout process. Please specify your request clearly in the ‘note’ section of the checkout page.
