Mid-Century Gold & Rose Quartz Ring
An elegant 1950s/60s elongated rose quartz cabochon is set into a warm yellow gold frame and pinched shoulders. The stone has a stunning transparent moonglow to it with an even soft pink colour.
Rose Quartz is known as the ‘love stone’ and is believe to have nurturing and loving qualities.
The ring is crafted in 333 gold (8ct) and still retains the stamp for the maker's mark which I have been unfortunately unable to make out.
I would avoid using any chemical cleanser when cleaning this ring. Rather, I would recommend lightly cleaning with mild soap and water, with a final polish of the gold with a gold jewellery cloth. I would take off the ring when using any chemicals such as hand sanitiser or cleaning products to protect the stone.
The Ring is a size 53EU.
The face of the ring measures 18mm x 12mm
The stone measures 14.4mm x 7.2mm
The ring sits 8mm off your finger
The band measures 3.9mm at its widest point and 1.5mm at its thinnest.
The ring weighs 3.4grams.
The ring is stamped 333 and makers mark.
