Art Deco Gold & French Cut Crystal Necklace
A Delicate Decolletage
Sophisticated little art deco necklace set within 9ct gold. This is an unusual piece as yellow gold was not typical of that period. The cut of the crystals means this necklace packs a ton of sparkle.
Made between 1920-1930, it is set with pearls and french cut crystal stones. It has been restored with the addition of a new gold clasp.
HOW TO WEAR:
Perfect length for a formal occasion or great stacked with other necklaces. The pearls are delicate and cannot tolerate harsh chemicals or being submersed in water. If possible save your necklace for last after putting on your cosmetics, lotions and hairspray. Pearls must also be kept safe in a damp free environment to protect them from any damage. Given the delicacy of the pearls it is not recommended this piece be worn in the shower or rain.
In excellent antique condition, all pearls and paste stones are without scratches or scuffing.
